Soon after, brewers Carlsberg Henrik chiefs then took him to the Big Apple to take charge of setting the North American marketing. Mag contained models to be among the top 250 fastest growing staffing companies in the United States. The turnover had increased by 1200% in five years. A new office was opened in Denmark to establish ECU and distribution in Denmark opened 80 shops selling watches.

In 1996, Skagen Denmark company had grown to nearly a hundred workers and the brand began selling its products in the UK, followed by Germany and the Netherlands in the year two thousand. The Corporation has gone from strength to strength since then and now is a huge concern with 160 staff and distribution in over 60 markets worldwide. The brand currently offers more than 250 clock designs are sold in more 5,000 stores worldwide.

In the northernmost peninsula of Denmark where the North Sea and Baltic combine can find the small town Skagen, with its beautiful white sand beaches that offers the cessation of the hustle and bustle of modern life.
